This is the teaser video for the Every Nation 2020 North American Church Planting Initiative. Sure it’s a mouthful, but sometimes the best way to brand a movement is to just say precisely what it is. We want to go all in on our goal to plant churches in North America.
Good thing North American cities have a wealth of stock footage on the internets. Ah the wonders of stock footage.
I continue to milk the Swiss 911 typeface for all its worth. I mean for real, it’s a nice font.
This will hopefully be my last excursion with Boujou since I will hopefully be getting Adobe Production Premium CS6 at the beginning of July and will be using their amazing 3D tracking within After Effects. As simple a tool as Boujou is, having it find the horizon line is a pain and occasional, inexplicable time discrepancies between the Exported camera tracking data and the footage inside After Effects really turned me off the product. Also the $10,000 price tag was a bit off putting as well.
Fun fact, the music on this video was a free track of the month at iStockphoto.com and I downloaded it thinking “I’m never using this.” Also the sound effect as the city names start changing was initially lifted from the Batman Begins Trailer. I added my own orchestra string swells over it as well as a few metal clanking noises and an electrical hum. But yeah, I kinda shamelessly lifted it.
